Executive Master
Big Data & Business Analytics

Our Executive Master is designed for high-potential managers with at least three years of professional experience who want to reinforce their skills in Business Analytics & Big Data.

The programme features an interdisciplinary curriculum that enables participants to build the in-demand technical, analytical and communications skills needed to manage large data sets and drive organisational change. This Executive Master is part-time and designed to fit alongside our participants’ full-time employment. This enables academic progression without disrupting working life and allows participants to apply what they have learned immediately.

The programme aims to provide participants with an understanding of the societal, organisational, managerial and entrepreneurial issues associated with the widespread use of big data and business analytics. It provides participants with an introduction to applied data analysis techniques (developing the practical skills of applied data analysis) while also teaching them to identify and evaluate advancements in data science and big data in their broader context. This includes the role and potential of data and analytics in the evolution of organisational practice and management. By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

  • 1Demonstrate expansive and deep knowledge of big data and business analytics
  • 2Understand the leading technologies available in the market and be able to choose the relevant solution based on a given situation or objective
  • 3Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of applied modelling and prediction
  • 4Use analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills in a variety of data-related jobs and functions
  • 5Identify how value can be created through a data-driven transformation programme
  • 6Support and potentially lead data-driven internal transformation processes
  • 7Take on future leading positions in a wide range of business sectors by mastering big data and business analytics
