ESCP renews academic partnership with the Women's Forum
As part of its strategic commitment to the promotion of equity and inclusion, ESCP is joining in partnership with the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society for the 2024 Global Meeting & Youth Voices Initiative.
ESCP is proud to partner once again with the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society for their annual Global Meeting, taking place October 23th and 24th, 2024 at the Maison de la Chimie in Paris. ESCP will also host the Youth Voices initiative on its campus in the afternoon before the conference begins.
Connecting through the sharing of ideas
The theme of the Women’s Forum Global Meeting this year is Reconciliation: Fostering Unity through Gender Equality. The keynotes, panels, and workshops will discuss a wide variety of relevant topics from work and home to society and online all connected to this idea of overcoming tensions and polarisation, and fostering dialogue and unity.
This year ESCP will intervene via the expertise of Professors Ben Voyer and Béatrice Collin.
The importance of uplifting youth voices
The Youth Voices initiative, launched in 2021, unites young people from across the globe, offering them a platform to exchange and connect and enhance their abilities through specialised experiences before and during the Global Meeting. Participants have the unique opportunity to engage directly with Women’s Forum speakers in private sessions, receive mentorship from Women’s Forum community members, and even take the stage at the Women’s Forum Global Meeting. This program empowers the next generation, providing them with a voice to share innovative perspectives on crucial issues such as diversity and inclusion in the workplace, financial literacy, the impact of youth engagement on sustainability, and much more.
We are thrilled to join Global Shapers Community as partners on this initiative, and for Professor Ben Voyer to lead a session dedicated to these Youth Ambassadors. This tailored programme will start on the afternoon of the 22nd and continue throughout the Global Meeting.
Applications are open until October 8th and can be found here.
ESCP’s commitment to equity and inclusion
ESCP is committed to promoting women's leadership in the corporate world and is developing European programmes designed to address the many issues faced by women in the workplace and in leadership roles.
In line with this commitment, ESCP has initiated programmes such as it’s "Women in Leadership" certificate and has added content on female leadership and entrepreneurship in many of its courses. Alongside six corporate partners, ESCP launched in 2023 the Women in Finance Chair, which aims to identify why women are under-represented in the finance industry, and in turn attract, retain and promote women in finance.
Flexibility has also been added to the delivery of the School’s EMBA and MBA in order to make continuing education more accessible for women who tend to be faced with greater caregiving responsibilities outside of work. The programmes now feature choice over study mode and duration, as well as a wide menu of electives.
In parallel to its programmes, ESCP Business School offers a range of scholarships specifically dedicated to female leaders to empower them to transform companies and seeks out opportunities for partnerships like the Women’s Forum, which enables the school to uplift women’s voices and work towards a more inclusive world.
