ESCP Business School is proud to share that Professor Gorgi Krlev, Associate Dean and Professor of Sustainability, has been recognised in German business magazine Capital’s prestigious "Top 40 under 40" list for 2024.

This outstanding recognition highlights Germany’s brightest young leaders who are driving change and making significant contributions in their respective fields.

Professor Krlev’s work in sustainability and social innovation has been pivotal in addressing some of today’s most pressing global challenges. His research and leadership exemplify the values of ESCP Business School, combining academic excellence with impactful, practical solutions to promote a sustainable future.

The "Top 40 under 40" initiative, established in 2007, honours individuals under 40 demonstrating exceptional leadership, expertise, and innovation. There are 160 awardees each year recognised across four categories. Winners are selected by an expert jury following a rigorous evaluation process. Professor Krlev joins a distinguished group of honourees for 2024, celebrated for their contributions across industries and disciplines.

Professor Krlev joins several ESCP colleagues who have been previously recognized by Capital in their annual list, including Professor Christoph Seckler, Professor Philip Meissner and PhD Candidate & Entrepreneur Mona Ghazi.

At this year's awards gala, Professor Krlev participated in a showcase panel alongside Svenja Hahn (Member of EU parliament), Jonas Deichmann (Extreme Sports Athlete) and Graciana Petersen (Head of Strategy & Transformation at Zeppelin Group).
