On 3rd October, ESCP Business School London Campus hosted its highly anticipated Annual Careers Fair.

This is the Campus' flagship careers event, allowing students to connect directly with top-tier employers from various industries in the UK.

The event saw more than 500 in-person attendees, including students from the Bachelor in Management (BSc), Master in Management, MSc in Energy Management and MSc in Digital Transformation Management & Leadership programmes. Additionally, 75 students connected online from other ESCP campuses, eager to explore future career pathways and build professional networks with UK employers.

This year, the Careers Fair featured 20 corporate partners from a diverse range of industries, including finance, technology, luxury goods, energy, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). Participants such as LVMH, L'Oreal, Amazon, BAT, and Bloomberg, as well as major banks like Barclays, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Deutsche, Citi, and BNP Paribas, and specialist companies like Mozrest, Apposite Capital LLP and Next Energy Group, provided important market insights and employment opportunities across finance, consulting, technology, marketing, and more. Each company shared unique perspectives on industry trends, skill requirements, and potential career paths, helping students understand the UK professional landscape and what it takes to succeed in different sectors.

The London Careers Fair is a key event in ESCP's European Careers Centre programme supporting all our students, not just in London but across all our five campuses, in their search for the right internship or career. Leveraging the ESCP’s unique multi-campus approach, the Careers Fair provides our highly-valued Corporate Partners with access to an unusually wide range of talent and skills from one of the world’s highest-ranked business schools.

The Careers Fair opened with hybrid company presentations, offering students both on-campus and remote access to insights from industry leaders. This format supports the new integrated approach of ESCP's European Careers Centre, providing students access to resources across all ESCP campuses, regardless of their teaching campus.

The morning agenda included 30-minute presentations and Q&As from:

  • Amazon
  • Bank of America
  • Bloomberg
  • BNP Paribas
  • Citi
  • LVMH
  • BAT

These sessions allowed students to understand the opportunities available in the UK market, ask questions, and gain deeper insights into company culture, application timelines and CV/interview tips.

We proactively recruit students from across the globe, particularly from across Europe with different European languages. ESCP has campuses all over Europe, and having a campus on our doorstep [in London], means we can visit and speak with students with all of our target languages and from different backgrounds. ESCP students often have a fantastic knowledge of finance, financial markets, and tend to look for the types of roles that we have. They are enthusiastic, bubbly, yet very professional and ask the right questions. They are often interested in global mobility and working in different parts of the world, which is useful for us as well.

Following the presentations, the main Careers Fair kicked off with interactive booths. Students had the opportunity to speak one-on-one with recruiters, gain tailored career advice, and explore internships and graduate roles. Employers also shared insights on the skills they seek and how students can best prepare for these opportunities. At the end, students had the chance to have a professional photo taken for their LinkedIn profiles, further enhancing their networking potential.

The Careers Fair is a unique networking opportunity for our students and corporate partners alike. Students are exposed to different opportunities available in the UK market, can explore different industries and use the event to expand their network. At the same time, companies gain access to a diverse and international audience of market-ready graduates, the next generation of leaders who are ready to lead and manage in an International context.

I am currently in my last year of the Master in Management, and this fair helped me to meet recruiters from different industries and see how we match with different companies and their people, as I look for my final internship in the UK.
