Alisa Sydow is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at ESCP Business School. She mainly teaches entrepreneurship and corporate entrepreneurship with a focus on new technologies and impact. She holds a PhD in Management and Innovation from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. Alisa's research interests are in entrepreneurship in developing countries (i.e. Kenya & Uganda), with a particular focus on technology entrepreneurship and women entrepreneurship. She is the author of articles published in top management journals (i.e. Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice), case studies and papers presented at international conferences (i.e. AOM, EGOS, & EURAM). Alisa is also the founder of Nampelka - a start-up that provides a platform to connect women entrepreneurs from developing countries with international experts to create a shared learning experience.
