International Food & Beverage Management Specialisation
Curriculum
Our programme targets your expertise
The MSc in International Food & Beverage Management will help you to build your future career step by step and become a manager or an entrepreneur in the Food & Beverage sector.
The specialisation focuses on the Food & Beverage industry with a transnational approach and covers all the fundamental competencies needed to succeed in this sector. You will have the chance to study across Italy and France.
The Professors and Facilitators provide a good mix of strong professional backgrounds with many years of work experience in the field of competence and a solid academic international background and foundation, with an international academic curriculum and background.
The teaching methods are a mix of lecture-based and case-based approaches. A significant integration within the lectures of guest speakers from the business world, startuppers and entrepreneurs provides value added to knowledge and to the participants’ network.
An innovative pedagogical model developed at ESCP will mix onsite lectures and visits with online activities, in order to take full advantage of internationality, lower geographical distances, and train participants in new working methods that will benefit more and more from the use of technology and online working.
A learning approach truly businesslike
The link to the business environment of this specialisation is boosted by testimonials from the corporate network of both big international companies (such as Lavazza, Barilla, Ferrero, etc.) and small innovative dynamic family-business firms, who will bring their professional experience and food & beverage expertise into class.
This MSc proposes a well-balanced methodology, encompassing and combining highly interactive lectures, rigorous and solid theoretical foundations, corporate connections and simulation, and professional experience with a final Master’s Thesis and an International Internship to apply management knowledge and methodological skills to a specific research subject.
International consulting projects (that are a simulation of a real consulting project on a real case and developed together with an F&B company) are developed entirely online, in order to ensure a more international experience and to train the participant to become efficient and familiar with remote-working.

“These two years changed my life completely and allowed me to grow both professionally and personally.
Firstly, the consultancy project is a great way to learn how to apply theory to practice, understand all the business issues and how to build a plan and manage people.
Then, during the many visits to F&B companies students can really see what happens in a company and enrich their experience.
Lastly, the master helped me to develop a set of soft skills that have become quite important for my future.
During these two years, I was able to develop adaptability and flexibility in undertaking new challenges, living in different countries, and acquiring leadership and team-building skills.” Learn more about Giacomo's experience
