Vittorio de Pedys , graduate with honors and laude in 1985 in Economics at University of Rome La Sapienza, is Permanenet Affiliate Professor of Finance and teaches since 2006 at ESCP Torino campus. He holds degrees as AIAF/EEAF and SFA (UK).
He is currently economic advisor to Italian Prime Minister's Office UnderSecretary of state for economic policy (as member of "Nucleo Tecnico per la Politica economica" DIPE) and economic advisor to the Italian Senate, Research department .
He is currently Director of the Investment Banking Specialisation at the Turin campus and teaches modules of Finance from Fundamentals of Finance to Corporate Finance to Firm evaluation, Mergers and Acquisitions, at MIM and GMP/EMBA courses and at Executive Custom education for several corporations. For ESCP he also teaches courses of Problem Solving and Decision making. For ESCP he also teaches in the other ESCP campuses.
At state level, he teaches several courses of different Financial topics at Universita' di Roma2 Tor Vergata (both MSc and EMBA) ,Universita' di Torino, at LUISS.
At international level, he teaches Portfolio management at Pace University, Lubin School of business in New York (USA), Corporate finance at Grenoble Graduate School of Business (France), Finance at Beida Peking University Beijing (China), Corporate Finance at University American College (FYROM),Private Equity Finance at Donau Universitat School of Business (Austria).
Before teaching, Vittorio de Pedys pursued a 25 years career in banking and investment banking, working as analyst for BNL-BNNP, as manager on the floor of the Milan Stock Exchange for Unicredit, as VP for Debt markets and derivatives for Merrill Lynch (now BofA), as Managing Director and Head of London Fixed Income for Salomon/Smith Barney (now Citigroup), then as C.F.O. for ICCREA Banking Group .
Currently he interviews and comments extensively on economic and financial matters on social media, TV, blogs, publishing articles on several magazines.
