Almudena CAÑIBANO is a Professor in Human Resource Management at the ESCP Business School. She holds a PhD in Employment Relations and Organizational Behaviour from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She also holds degrees from Complutense University of Madrid, Autonomous University of Madrid and Paris Dauphine University, in Management Research, Management and Human Resource Management respectively. She has been a guest researcher at the University of Mälardalen (Sweden) and the University of Auckland (New Zealand). She is currently a guest researcher at the Department of Business Administration at the University of Gothenburg (Sweden). 

Her research focuses on the changing nature of work and its connection to employee experiences. She has studied innovative work organization systems, flexible working, human resource management and their effect on occupational health, employee wellbeing and organizational performance. Her work has been published in top rated academic journals such as Human Relations, Human Resource Management Journal, Industrial Relations: a Journal of Economy and Society or the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, among others. 

She is the co-director of the Research Center on Happiness & Well-being in Management and the Sponsored Chair Women in Finance.
