Fahmi Ben Abdelkader is the academic director of the Executive Master in International Wealth Management at ESCP Business School.
He has over 20 years of teaching experience in prestigious educational institutions, namely ESCP Business School and Sorbonne University of Paris1, as well as ESSEC, HEC Paris, and ESA Business School.
Throughout his career, Fahmi has taught more than 2,000 executives, including non-financial managers, entrepreneurs, board directors, and lawyers from over 50 countries. He has also designed and delivered customized training programs and workshops for managers and board directors of international corporations.
In 2023, he was honored with the Best Teacher Award by both the ESCP faculty and the Master in Management (MIM) students.
Fahmi holds a Ph.D. in Economics and a Master’s degree in International Economics from Sorbonne University of Paris 1. In 2011, he received the International Doctoral Prize for Research Work in Economic Studies from the CEDIMES Institute, in recognition of his “expertise in the economies of the MENA region and his analysis of institutional change and development within this area”.
He has co-authored a book on the role of governance institutions and trust in the development process of the MENA region (Institutions de gouvernance, confiance et développement dans les pays arabes. As a consultant to the World Bank, Fahmi has conducted surveys on corporate governance systems of State-Owned Enterprises in the MENA region and contributed to "Private Sector Diagnostics" studies in this area.
He has also served as Scientific Coordinator and Executive Committee Member of the Labex ReFi (Excellence Laboratory on Financial Regulation), where he actively contributed to advancing research in financial regulation.
